Congratulations to customer Vivid Imaginations on the new Wall.E contract

Vivid Imaginations has signed UK distribution rights to upcoming Disney/Pixar film, Wall.E.
The firm has signed the UK/Ireland master non-electronic toy distribution rights from Thinkway Toys for the Summer 2008 movie.

Worldwide master toy licensee Thinkway Toys will manufacture and supply non electronic product to Vivid for domestic distribution in UK/Ireland with heavyweight marketing support, including a 900 TVR campaign from July and extensive PR and in store marketing.

Thinkway will continue to offer all of the electronic toy portion of the line on a direct FOB basis via GeeMac.

Wall.E is directed by Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton and is the story of a robot’s comic adventures as he chases his dreams across the galaxy.

“The Vivid team are thrilled to be working with Thinkway and Disney on Wall.E. Our belief is that it has the same collectable, toyetic feel of the Cars movie,” stated Nick Austin, Vivid CEO. “The late summer 2008 cinema release date is a fantastic opportunity for both retailers and ourselves as there is far less competition in the boys movie area and it is close enough to the autumn season to be a perfect lead-in to Christmas.”
