Proteus staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the Women in Logistics Summer Ball, held on Friday 6th July. Dancing went on until the early hours of Saturday morning, on an packed dance floor.
The Charity Ball helped to raise a total of £8000 for Transaid. Transaid is an international UK development charity that aims to reduce poverty and improve livelihoods across Africa and the developing world through creating better transport. The organisation was founded by Save the Children and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Patron is HRH The Princess Royal.
David Gray CEO said, " What a lovely way to raise money for such a worthwhile cause. Our staff all enjoyed themselves. The meal and the venue were both great, and the atmosphere was tremendous. Well done to the Women in Logistics for organising such a brilliant event."
