GSK Pharmaceuticals have gone live with Proteusâ Warehouse Management Solution. GSK, one of the world’s leading research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, were looking for a third party logistics company to store and ship their products on behalf of their Ireland operation, and a warehouse management solution to control stock movements and ensure delivery.

After a selection process was carried out they chose PRL Group, a large third party logistics provider in Dublin to store their products and the Proteusâ Warehouse Management Solution to control their processes within the warehouse.

GSK’s products are sold in more than 150 countries around the world, with operations in 119 countries. They make prescription medicines, vaccines, over-the-counter medicines, and consumer healthcare products. Their business accounts for 6.3% of the world’s pharmaceutical market. They have strong positions in several therapeutic areas including anti-infectives, asthma, cancer, cardiovascular, depression, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and urology.

Proteusâ Warehouse Management Solution is used to ship prescription medicines.
