The first financial quarter of 2010/2011 has proven to be a tremendous success for Proteus, with the placing of six new business orders. The orders are from a variety of industry sectors: Third Party Logistics Providers (3PLs), Giftware and Lighting Suppliers, Kitchen Distributors, and Chilled and Frozen Food suppliers. All of the new orders placed are for the Proteus Warehouse Management system, proving that our software meets the needs of businesses requiring warehouse and industry control.
David Gray CEO of Proteus Software says, “The volume of orders we have received since the beginning of our Financial year is an indication that the market might be on the move in some sectors, and demand for consumer goods is yet again increasing.
Once again warehousing and logistics professionals are under pressure to monitor and increase their performance. However a lot of companies are still using outdated methods to store, pick and ship their stock. The necessity to implement up to date systems and use technology is a vital move to relieve the performance pressures that companies are under in the day to day operation of the business.
There is no doubt that our adoption of the latest technology, our innovative system design, and our flexible approach to our clients is a major contributing factor to our success in this first quarter. It has given us a great boost for 2011 and we are hoping that year will continue as it has started.”
Proteus has solutions to fit the needs of businesses operating in today’s supply chain and logistics market, including Warehouse Management, e- Commerce and Financial systems. We have recently deployed our software in the Cloud, and all of our solutions are available as Software as a Service (SaaS). Our SaaS hosted solutions provide a high level of system flexibility, with the added advantage of less capital expenditure.
