Proteus customer, Oakland International have successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Oakland Foundation, a new charity that has been set to tackle child poverty in the Redditch and Bromsgrove areas. The charity, recently launched by HRH Princess Anne, has got off to a good start by raising over £10,000 from the climb. The trip has taken 5 days, and involved a trek up the mountain to a height of 19,341 ft.
Proteus congratulates all members of the Oakland team, who gave their time and money to complete this challenge for a worthwhile course.
