3PL Stillers has chosen Proteus WMS to run their client's Coveris Rigid's newly built warehouse in Chester le Street. Coveris, a high performance flexible packaging manufacturer decided to give the contract for managing the warehouse to Stillers, who have a proven track record of managing product storage, and distribution for a wide variety clients. Proteus WMS was selected by Stillers to control the warehouse operation as they were confident in the Proteus team's ability to install the software and go live in a very short timescale. The project began after an initial meeting with Mike Cox, development consultant, Proteus Software at the Newton Aycliffe site in October last year, and the work was completed and the system live by Stillers' projected go live date of 5th January 2015. The WMS system is for 15 RF users, and had to be interfaced into MFGpro, Coveris's manufacturing system.
Managing Director Paul Stiller said: "This is a fantastic deal for the company and we're absolutely delighted. "We have been working in conjunction with the Coveris team within a very challenging timeframe. We are very proud of the set up work which has been carried out by our team under the leadership of our general manager, Brian Simpson". Howard Turvey MD Proteus Software echoed Paul's sentiments by saying," We are very pleased to have completed the implementation of the WMS system in extremely tight timescale. I am delighted with the work that was undertaken by the Proteus team, who pulled out all the stops to make this happen."
