Oakland International Ltd has appointed Paul Evans as their new IT and Infrastructure Manager with primary responsibility for taking the company’s IT infrastructure to the next level.

Paul, joining the Oakland team brings considerable industry experience and a wealth of knowledge from his twenty years of working within both chilled and ambient distribution environments. Previously holding the role of Systems and Implementation Manager responsible for development and client business integration, he is now tasked with extending Oakland’s customer focused service offer.

Oakland a small cog in Chokolit mania

Worcestershire based Oakland International will be distributing this year’s must have chocolate sensation, Chokolit, from their Redditch distribution centre.

Oakland’s ‘Nippy’ Innovation!

Sending samples of chilled food products to potential customers has always proved costly and problematic, until now. Redditch based multi-temperature supply chain specialist, Oakland International, will launch their innovative chilled and frozen parcel distribution solution, the ‘Nippy’ parcel delivery service, at the IFE07 International Food & Drink Exhibition in London (18-21 March). This new service will initially be available for dispatching both chilled & frozen products in the UK.  However, Oakland International is already developing strategic partnerships with the intention of offering overseas dispatch options within the year.
