Oakland International, a UK based multi temperature supply chain specialist and Southern Ireland transport operator, Brian Caffrey International Limited, have brokered a deal that is seeing Irish and UK producers reaping the rewards of an extended Irish/UK transport link, which officially launched on Wednesday 27th May 2009.

                                                                                                                                                                              With a reputation for delivering highly reactive, flexible and customer focused service supply chain platforms, the extension of Oakland’s business model will see their Ireland operation run as a satellite depot to their UK based operations, enabling both companies to extend their existing supply chain service for both Irish and UK suppliers between the UK and Irish retail sectors. The new service will deliver unrivalled lead times, presenting significant cost advantages for producers wishing to deal with UK and Irish retailers direct.
