Charity organisation Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) has chosen Proteus Software to be their software provider after a long and thorough look at the market place.  The selection process involved an initial overview of 30 software companies, with an in depth evaluation of a selected 15.

Aid to the Church in Need is a global, pastoral organisation that works in countries wherever there is a real need for aid.  The charity was started in 1934 by Dutchman, Father Werenfried. After the Second World War he was deeply moved by the plight of the homeless and dispossessed exiles, so he single-handedly set out to care for their spiritual and physical needs. 

From that moment, the charity steadily grew to become the worldwide organisation that it is today.  Running a number of charitable projects at any one given time, ACN’s current priorities include the Middle East, China, Sudan, India and Eastern Europe.
