Multi-temperature supply chain specialist Oakland International Limited, based in Redditch, has secured a new high volume contract with Isigny Sainte-Mère, a French dairy co-operative, known throughout the world for its quality cheese, butter, fromages frais, cream crème fraîche and milk powders.

With two production facilities in Normandy, Isigny will be utilising Oakland’s specialist supply chain operation to handle in excess of one million cases of Isigny Ste-Mère dairy product per year, all destined for the shelves of major retailers and foodservice outlets throughout the UK.

Operations director, Paul Ziolek commenting on the contract said: “We are delighted to be working with Isigny Sainte-Mère and over time developing our relationship even further.”

Exporting over 30% of its product, Isigny Ste-Mère cheeses include Camembert, Mimolette, Pont L'Evêque and the distinctive AOC Pont l’Evêque butter and crème fraîche. Oakland’s Midland’s distribution operation is centrally located, enabling Isigny to drive huge benefits in terms of access and stock replenishment and the ability to utilize a wide range of distribution networks.
