Retrospective Discounts
The Proteus® Retrospective Discounts module allows comprehensive discount schemes to be set up and enacted. Schemes can be for individual customers, or for groups of customers who operate collectively e.g. buying groups. In the latter case the payment can be made to either the individual participant or to the ‘owner’ of the scheme. The Retrospective Discounts system provides for two categories of products in relation to the calculation formula, qualifying products and discountable products. Qualifying products are the products that a customer has to purchase to be eligible for the discount. Both quantity and value targets can be set, with multiple break points defined. Discountable products are those products that attract a discount based upon the qualification being achieved, and can be specified for individual, groups, or all products. |
