RF Warehousing illuminates Searchlight Electric
 
Searchlight Electric Limited, the UK’s largest source of home and contract lighting, have been so successful since they commenced business in May 1974, they have recently constructed a “state of the art“ warehouse facility to accommodate the growing business
 
Located in Manchester on a 6½ acre site, the 120,000 sq ft three storey building comprises a 15,000 sq ft showroom (which is possibly the most impressive and modern in Europe), a fully equipped 95,000 sq ft high bay warehouse and second floor open plan sales and administration complex.
 
The new warehouse currently has 13,500 pallet locations and the potential for significant expansion. Appropriately, the building was named after the founder of the business, Sir Sidney Hamburger and officially opened by Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex on the 25th July 2002.
